The Sharp Shuriken [Closed at first, Open later]

Who: Adela Milani ([personal profile] abileunaspada) & Sasuke Uchiha ([personal profile] not_thedragon) & OPEN**
Where: The Konoha Training Fields
When: February 8th
What: Adela has finished a commission request for a special weapon and is going to test it with her client, Sasuke. Unfortunately, a simple test spar is not going to go as planned.
Notes: Warning for violence. At first, the log will be closed, but later on we'll open it up for more people around Konoha to tag in.

---------------

It was hard to wait. Adela had told him to be there by around 10, and she ended up arriving early to wait for Sasuke. Several times she had tested the odd shuriken he had asked for, as a distance weapon and as a close range, but she wouldn't know if it was good enough or not until he put it to the test. She had to wait for him to appear in order to do so.

It was strange, the way her heart pounded about it. Just what would Sasuke think of her work? It made her nervous, more than anyone else looking over any of her wares. Maybe it was because, even if it hadn't been the case for years, he was still her Senpai...

She shook it off when she heard his approach, perking up before tossing the weapon casually to him, knowing that it wouldn't be a dangerous gesture for him, "Catch."

Sensei will save you! I mean.

Obito hadn't actually been the one to get the message, thoroughly unaware that one had even been sent out in fact, but he'd been headed back to the tower after a quick break himself for himself and he'd caught wind that Sasuke was off this direction and had decided to see what he was up to...

But this didn't really look good. Well, more hands was better than no hands, and he hurried over, seeing that Sasuke had what he liked to call his 'medic face' on. "What happened?"

"Hey!" Sasuke grabbed Adela's shoulder for a light shake, not enough to dislodge her from her position, when he noticed her eyes had closed. It was true that it would be fine for her to sleep it off in hour increments once they'd confirmed this was just a concussion, but before then he wanted her awake and able to use her words.

The approach of another chakra and question was a relief, Sasuke starting to rattle off without yet turning around: "Chuunin, CHI, probably Grade 1 MTBI with disorientation but no sustained lack of --"

And then the voice registered, making him swivel around with a frown of mixed confusion and disappointment.

"Sensei? What are you doing here? I asked for a medic-nin."

Obito lifted his hands in a warding gesture. "I was just taking a quick walk to clear out the cobwebs and noticed you guys over here on the way back." He sobered quickly though, shaking his head. "I can escort you to the hospital at the very least if you need help moving her."

It wasn't much more reassuring that Obito hadn't even seen his note on the scrolls, but at least he was being serious about this, even if Sasuke had no idea what he was talking about with cobwebs or whatever --

"We can move her if we keep her spine aligned," he said. "Do you have any kind of jutsu that would do that?"

Worst come to worse, he could splint it, maybe, but it would be a weird splint for sure.

He frowned, looking around before shaking his head and pulling his sword from along his back. Not typical usage but he tended to prefer longer blades. He made sure to bring the sheath with it. "If you put that against her back, I have a seal that should keep her still. It's a type of immobilization jutsu. It's the best I have though."

"That'll work," Sasuke decided, taking the sword and wiring it into its sheath before slipping a hand under Adela's head again, bracing it and pulling to help her sit back up. "Sit up. Once you're strapped into place, be ready for sensei's jutsu."

"Don't apologize, it'll be fine once we get you seen to. Accidents in training happen, it's all about making sure you recover well." He took out a paper and started inking out the seal on that while Sasuke got her adjusted.

His mouth tightened at the apology even as he worked on getting her strapped into place with a spare roll of bandages. It was undoubtedly Sasuke's fault -- he was the higher-ranking one on the field, and he'd gotten a kouhai hurt -- but he wasn't going to get into it now, with Adela clearly still woozy from the hit to have called him by his given name a few minutes ago.

"We're set," he said instead, nodding at Obito and bracing her for the jutsu.

Obito press the seal against her chest and activated it, making sure it was secured. "Okay there, pinned. We can move her now."
