The mini sun exploded and as the light burned it was all Hinata could do to put an arm up in a vague attempt at protecting them from further damage. Her automatic reaction to back away which only ended in her stumbling as the excessive light faded and she was left with dots of color dancing around her in all directions. She couldn’t make out the civilian girl she’d shared an inn room with or the ninja that had set the seal to begin with, their chakra patterns masked by all the fuzzy moving shapes.

She had some practice fighting blind, miniscule as it was, but still some practice. Closing her eyes she deactivated her Byakugan and putting an end to her personal kaleidoscope from hell. She was lucky it wasn’t more than light and chakra she could be stumbling off balance and much more disoriented. Channeling chakra back into her hands she continued forward albeit at a much slower pace than before. She wouldn’t be able to seal tenketsu until her vision cleared but she could still do damage to his chakra system in a very rough sense once she caught up to him again.
