"For me?" Gai pointed at himself and looking appropriately surprised. People rarely sought him out unless he had done something wrong or was needed for a mission. Even Kakashi, his own Eternal Rival, rarely actually came looking for him. Most people avoided Gai, or waited for Gai to find him.

So, he was really kind of flattered that Obito came looking specifically for him! ...And kind of suspicious, too, but he kept that unwanted feeling tucked out of sight, out of mind.

"Sure!!" he tried to keep the over-eager-puppy tone out of his voice, but it was nice to have someone seek him out. He was determined to not disappoint. "Did you like the ideas I left with your nurse about recovery training? I have more if you are interested!!" He flipped a few pages in his notebook.
