Who: Neji, Obito, and OPEN
When: February 5th, afternoon
Where: Konoha Mission Room
Notes: Come get your missions, turn in your reports and collect payment, or stop by for a general chat.
There was an unusual face staffing the missions desk today. With Hyuuga's trademark pale eyes and dark hair, Neji looked about as thrilled as any other shinobi would be saddled with a desk job. That was to say, carefully neutral with a slight tension in his jaw, because the Hokage himself sat next to him, handling assignments and being generally official. Neji passed over any necessary scrolls, negotiated and accepted money from clients, paid out money that was due to contracted shinobi, and made sure to keep accurate financial records of everything.
It was exhausting work in itself, and Neji decided that it really wasn't worth trying to avoid conversations if this was how Obito arranged to speak with him from then on. The Jounin stifled a sigh as he jotted down another note and forced his voice into polite neutrality as he glanced up at the next person to approach the desk while their Hokage was busy.
"Yes, what can I do for you?"
