Who: Sakura and OPEN
Where: Konoha - Amaguriama
When: June 6th - Morning and earlier in the day, when most of the genin are just setting out or haven't made it to the maze yet.
Notes: Buying supplies for rigorous chuunin exam viewing.
She's fairly certain there were other exams held in Konoha before she became genin, but at that time she hadn't paid enough attention to remember how many had been in her lifetime. Since becoming Chuunin, there had been only one time. Still, it seemed like Konoha had been busy for lots of other reasons since she'd become genin anyway. Enough that she didn't feel uncomfortable by the busy nature of Konoha now that it hosted another chuunin exam.
There was probably some kind of appropriate celebration to be held for the first chuunin exam in her own town after her promotion to chuunin, but she didn't know what it was and Kiba's suggestions were all terrible.
Observing an exam as a chuunin would be a different experience than watching it as a genin, at least. Sweets seemed like the appropriate answer for a snack while watching (if it wasn't, she would hear none of it: sweets were almost always the most appropriate snack). Which ones, however, she was still deciding on.
There was a certain argument for getting sweets from another country, given the spirit of cooperation that The Chuunin Exams were supposed to espouse. On the other, nothing with 'sand' or 'rock' in the name sounded at all appetizing. And syrup-covered anko dumplings always sounded appetizing. Always.
She frowned at the display of rare and foreign candies for a few moments more, before she finally moved up to the window the small sweet shop operated through. "One box of glazed anko dumplings." As the worker turned to get it prepared, Sakura quietly calculated the odds of Kiba arriving and insisting on sharing her food. "...No, two boxes."
