"Sensei doesn't really need reasons to do that," Sasuke said in as ominous a tone as he could imagine. Maybe that wasn't entirely fair -- generally, he could see the method behind the madness, even if it took until after the fact -- but sometimes it was hard to tell what was a reasoned strategy and what was for the hell of it. Possibly that was the whole point; he'd given up trying to understand Obito at this point.
