Itachi straightened and looked at his brother. This was one of those times when Itachi was reminded how much Sasuke had grown lately, and that he wasn't a little kid anymore, mentally or physically. He was, of course, still a teen and still growing. Itachi would have that to look forward to for a few years.
"I brought some food." Itachi gestured to the basket. "And other than that, as you have spent an exorbitant amount to spend time with someone who lives in the same house as you, it seems prudent to allow you choose what we do." And as flattering as that might be, Itachi still had a healthy dose of guilt sitting on his head. He needed to make more time to spend with his brother.
The problem was, he knew that resolve wouldn't last very long. There would be things that needed doing, and he would get lost in the tangle of missions and duty that always distracted him from personal commitments.
Today was simply about Sasuke, and whatever he wanted to do. Ironically Itachi was here because of the auction, which had been a duty to Konoha, technically. Itachi was a pretty awful brother.
