Even if part of Sasuke is looking forward to when Hinata and Itachi will be in their rightful places, there is also a large part of him that will miss going on missions with Hinata when the time comes. It'll just be him and Naruto on active duty one of these days, and it's been a while since they've been assigned together.

He remembers late that they're supposed to be administering a portion of the exam, not making small-talk, and his expression shifts to one of distaste as he surveys the genin gathered so far.

"If you make the announcement, they're going to feel encouraged," he says, giving Hinata a sidelong glance. "I should probably do it."
