If Kakashi was under the impression that he hadn't been caught, it was because he was willfully ignoring all the times where he'd shown up and Obito had promptly grabbed him and made him sit for a bandaging. Given their connection, and the way their eyes worked, if there was anyone in the whole world who was going to be stuck forever at 'not sneaking up on Uchiha Obito' then it was going to be Kakashi.

Not to say that Obito looked all the time or anything like that. If anything he went out of his way to avoid it unless a mission called for him taking a look around things while stuck in Konoha. He knew Kakashi didn't care for being cornered into diplomatic duties when he needed things like that, but that didn't mean he didn't send him off with Hinata or Naruto on a regular basis as a guard while they did a thing for him instead. He just hadn't on this most recent mission that had come up... and that was the reason his sleep was rather light.

Still, the familiar pad of quiet, but not silenced feet was enough to bring Obito to wakefulness, and he shifted slightly, enough to peer back in the direction of the doorway his sprawl under an escaping cover had him turned away from.

Was this going to be a quick once over and was he going to have to catch Kakashi for some first aid before sending him off again? He'd been waiting for the next time ever since missions had started to regularly go south in the field.

Of course, if that happened Kakashi would convince himself that he'd revealed himself on purpose, so there's that too.
