Obito really did look 'that bad,' not that Gai planned to say so to his friend's face, but was one of the reasons they were here now--because Obito looked like he really needed a break from everything. Maybe they all did. It had been much too long since any of them had taken a day for rejuvenating their spirits!

"He is indeed!" Gai grinned, setting aside his food as he scooted closer to Kakashi, taking advantage of Obito's capture of Kakashi's feet in order to quickly close the distance remaining and attempt to pin his Rival to the picnic blanket in a friendly competition.

"But run if you would like, Kakashi! I am more persistent than you are evasive! You cannot escape me forever!"
