"Mhm," Kakashi answered, his hands tucked into the pockets of his uniform as he cast his lazy gaze around the room. He took in the wardrobe and the chest at the foot of the bed, the small amount of books and personal items... and finally wandered over to the dresser holding the little bonsai tree and a couple of small whittled wood figures.

It was curious how their rooms differed but were still startlingly similar. Kakashi's room was probably just as bare as Tenzou's was - he didn't see much need for too many homely touches when he was hardly at home in the first place - but this room seemed to have an almost military clean to it, like Tenzou was afraid to settle down.

His eye lingered on the curve of a pale mask sitting to the side of the dresser.
