[closed] So as I aim for the deep seabed
Who: Neji and Kushina
When: December 5th
Where: Lake outside of Konoha
Notes: Never keep information from an Uzumaki- even unintentionally. There will be consequences.
There's nothing quite like walking into a trap.
The sense follows him with every step he takes toward the lake, mocks him with a faint shimmer of pale sunlight glittering off the surface. A perfectly placid lake that's frozen in patches and reminding him just how cold the water is like to be when it's inevitably disturbed in one fashion or another.
Uzumaki Kushina firmly believes in a sink and drown approach to training water ninjutsu, and his chakra reserves are lacking- have barely scratched close to anywhere she wants them to be. Because for all he knows about expanding them, he doesn't exactly enjoy throwing up gallons of water a day to do so. The fact he could be called on at anytime for anything make him less inclined to go to these extremes.
The result in much slower progress than either of them would like, if he were honest, and he's only just begun to consider the fact that he may have taken on too much at once. But no matter what happens here, he decides as he settles down to wait at the water's edge, there's something else to look forward to today.
Probably.
