Kiba looked back at her then, and raised a hand to awkwardly scruff at the back of his head.
"Listen, Adela," he started, his voice controlled and his look sincere. "...About last time we talked. I just.. wanna let you know I'm sorry, okay? I messed up, I get it. I shouldn't have teased you like that.. but I don't want my fuck up to come between us or anything... So, can we just forget it ever happened?" He stuck out his hand for her to shake, giving her an almost hopeful grin.
