[Closed] A Momma's Boy? Really?
Who: Nanako and Sephiroth
When: January 10
Where: Either his apartment, or her quarters.
Since her promotion and the... unpleasantness with his cousin and then his comrade, a faint but notable distance had wriggled between Nanako and the man she lauded as her first, beloved child. She bridged it where and when she could, and took it as a good omen that after so long he seemed to finally be thawing out, at least a little.She wouldn't be here if she didn't do a little prying, however, and once that information was in her hands, Nanako decided to make one of her periodic trips to the surface.
Her visit happened to overlap with one of her boy's missions, so she did what she always did when he was out during her check-ups: she cleaned, and nosed around, and—since he was due back within a week of her visit, if not sooner—she stocked his fridge with some nice, easy-to-reheat meals.
And, as was her loving tendency, she left a few sticky notes plastered to his bathroom mirror, with a special, heartfelt message, just for him.
My dear Secchan,
I cannot begin to say just how happy I am to receive word that your spirits have lightened lately! I simply had to stop by; it's been such a long time since I visited, after all. You were out, so I took the liberty of letting myself in. I cleaned the blood out of the grout on your tile, and stocked your refrigerator with plenty of food and some pre-made meals for when you return.
I couldn't help but notice the newest addition to your household; she's very cute, my darling, but I hadn't realized you had that kind of interest. I hope you don't mind, but I couldn't help but do a little digging of my own. It's such a novel thing for you, I couldn't help myself! There wasn't much, at first, but Oyama Ami-chan might be even cuter than that doll. It's so nice to see you making friends again, Secchan.
