"We need everyone with a shield or something similar to cover everyone else's retreat," he said instead of continuing his previous thought, already straightened out of the awkward exit they'd been engaged in prior to fire-breathing lizard interruptions. A small group of mercenaries looked slightly more organized and better armed. "I'll start with those guys; you can start rounding up civilians."
