It was then he realized that up until that moment, he hadn't been completely certain about having Obito as their Hokage. Always that niggling doubt about having an Uchiha in such a position, but this went beyond clan rivalries and politics.

Obito had been, and would continue to be a good Hokage for the village. And as a member of ANBU, it was now Neji's job to ensure Konoha's future, protecting the village, its citizens and Hokage with everything. And he'd be able to throw himself into it wholeheartedly, because he believed in Konoha, and believed in its leader.

So tonight he'd paint, and tomorrow, he'd start his training. Then once that was done, he'd don the mask and become the shinobi he was meant to be, protecting everything with his entire being.
