If Kakashi was honest, he hadn't spared a single thought the layout of the Hoshigaki holdings till Yamato explained it, and the realisation of just what was wrong dawned on him. On the one hand he was relieved it wasn't a serious injury or a death in the ranks.. but on the other hand he knew how these kind of reactions felt, and knew what they could do to Yamato. He hadn't seen that look in his eyes for over ten years now.. it was no wonder he hadn't recognised it at first.
His expression twitched, but it was a just small dip of his eyebrows, almost curiosity.
"That sounds terrifying, I don't think I'd like to go down there." Kakashi moved a shoulder, a little shrug. "I think I would have opted out and guarded the entrance instead, if that were the case.." A small laugh escaped the copy-nin's chest, and he gave Yamato a reassuring smile. It wasn't that he didn't care, or didn't want to know what had happened... but he knew that he couldn't lure things like that out of Yamato with such simple a tactic as just asking.
