Masanori's smile fell with that question, onyx-colored eyes darting left, then right, then left again. Turning them over his shoulders warily for good measure, he looked back at Ami, his expression smoothing into something more serious. He cleared his throat.
"It's necessary," he stated, as though he were some sort of morally ambiguous villain about to make some plot relevant revelation. He leaned slightly forward then, eyes fixed on her. "The real question is whether or not I can trust you with the sensitive information I'm considering disclosing."
