[OPEN] We lay under the Misty Mountains cold
Who: Nori & OPEN
When: February 18th-25th
Where: Konoha Tea Avenue
Notes: An undersized thief wanders the streets of Konoha.
It's a bad time to be in the neighborhood, Nori decides. Fire Country's not known for it's annual snowfall or low temperatures even in Winter, but it seems bad weather has followed him across the sea. The terrain is unusually treacherous and for once, Nori entertains the thought of travelling over to Wind next for a little vacation until Earth Country thaws out again. Then again, he really should head straight north instead of fucking around with the other countries instead, because if war looms on the horizon again, he needs to be prepared to defend his brothers. And it's getting harder and harder to travel without a shinobi's use of the newfangled transport seals.
Back in my day, Nori snorts to himself as he wanders along Konoha's main avenues. But where would be the fun in travelling if it were that easy? Might hafta take a ship north if it's too bad.
But the markets, he finds -either because of or despite the weather- are still busy, and he wanders through the streets with his hood up for an additional layer of anonymity in the light drizzle pouring from the skies. He buys a steamed bun from a vendor and meanders down Tea Avenue with all the interest of a tourist. His free hand drifts through various pockets with only supervision enough to avoid most of the shinobi that walk by. Really, he barely has to pay attention when those identifying headbands did the work for him.
His pocket jingles with the clink of lifted coinage, and Nori chews through his snack while his eyes trace easy escape routes and his ears listen for anything of interest.
