After the first unnamed intel agent Obito had sprung on him, Sasuke was prepared for anything. Granted, this wasn't a case of someone under his command for the duration of the investigation, which meant that it was more likely to be on the level, but if Obito could throw Itachi of all people under Sasuke, anything was possible.
This incident sounded like a more straightforward information drop-off from a shinobi not formally assigned to the investigation, though, which meant Sasuke had set up shop in one of the temporary offices in T&I again. He'd discovered that T&I building tended to lose its ominous nature over time, and was tilted comfortably back on two legs of the chair, a pencil stuck behind his ear as he sorted through notes from his own latest mission and waited for his contact.
