Who: Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Fugaku, old men.
When: 05/29, evening.
Where: The Room Where Serious Things Get Discussed AKA the front room probably.
Notes: Succession is a delicate matter, sort of.
Sasuke had expected to be called in for a talk. The surprising thing was that it had taken this long -- it had been a few years since he'd last been seriously chastised for something he'd done, but getting captured and blinding a subordinate probably outranked anything he'd ever been in trouble for before.
That, and he probably needed to explain whether his eyes had been at all experimented with, though oddly enough it was a non-Uchiha who was probably greater grounds for concern when it came to that. But he was fairly sure that that was something Kakashi needed to work out with the clan himself, and it was unlikely that Fugaku would consult Sasuke on the matter in any case.
So it was that Sasuke arrived in the sparsely-decorated front room resigned but prepared, settling himself into seiza to wait.
There were no windows in this room; he left the door open and watched the dim glow of evening fading in the entrance hall.
