It was complicated, and a medic would recognize it as a variant of an advanced medical seal usually used only for very grievous injuries where large portions of tissue needed to be repaired. Gale explained the different portions of the seal as he wrote it out, and how they worked together to allow a group to heal instead of just one. The adjustments allowed the seal to funnel the healing into smaller wounds instead of just major tissue regeneration, but obviously required someone very skilled to control it.
"I will set it to be manned by three. If there are more that can assist, we can rotate."
Except unless another seal expert or advanced medic arrived, Gale wouldn't be able to rotate and would take the brunt of the strain anyway, even if it would be marginally better than doing healings all on his own.
