Okay, here is how this is going to work! We're starting these threads a whole ten days early! We have a reason for this. Due to schedules, we don't want anyone to feel left out because they couldn't be there on the exact 'day' of the auction. So, we're spreading this out over several days so everyone that wants to participate can. That way, when the IC 26th, 27th, and 28th are going, everyone will already have some idea of what their characters will actually be doing!

How the post itself will work is fairly simple though.

1: Each character whose player put them in for being auctioned will have a thread below. All male characters will have been auctioned in the morning (before noon), and thus will come before the women, who will be in the afternoon.

2: The order the threads are posted in by the mods will be the order which will have people actually auctioned! There will be notations on Player Characters noting prominent people (characters no one is playing) who got auctioned off between so that people know how fast their character spent their money, if their character would have tried to buy up any of said characters. (There's no need to buy any of said characters, mind, it's purely to fill in the gaps.)

3: Have fun! Communicate ooc! If you want a mod to come declare a thread closed, flag Skeren or Youko down so we can do a "going once, going twice, sold" on it so people know they can't roll in and bid anymore. We'll confirm everyone in the thread is actually done bidding before closing it, but all sales are final!

4: All bidding will start at 3,000 Ryo. (Please note this is less than the cheapest price a client would pay for a D-rank mission in Konoha)

This was nerve-wracking. She glanced up at him, thinking it over and nervous as the bidding came up. That was when she counted out the money in her wallet - even without getting wrangled into being bid on later, Adela had already planned on trying to win some time with Senpai. Maybe, just maybe, it'd help her take her mind off of what else was happening. It seemed like everyone wanted her to take a break, so...

Did she really want to do this?

A voice that sounded foreign to her left her mouth, and she shook off her nerves before placing the first bid, "3,500 ryo."

You need to try better than that Adela, show the boy you mean it. He waved a hand. "4,000 Ryo."

What? The Hokage? She blinked, clearly surprised that he was bidding before trying to shake it off. Damn it, she knew she'd run into competition but she wasn't expecting it from him!

Jerk.

"4,500 ryo."

Hay gurl hay, Kushina's gonna make you work for senpai. But no where near as hard as Neji's bidding war.

"5,000 ryo!"

Itachi wasn't sure how felt about bidding for someone's time, but this was his brother. He felt it would be somehow disloyal not to bid on him.

"6,500 ryo."

Why is everyone bidding on Sasuke. Adela was inwardly panicking a little then, shaking her head before upping the ante even more.

"8,000 ryo!"

And Hinata places her bid because well teammate. She has to bid on teammate, both of them, Naruto was done for the day and she'd bid a hefty amount already on him but she's had a decent allowance.

"9,000 ryo."

Well... This was getting interesting. Kushina was just gonna keep a discreet eye on Adela with each bid for now, including her own.

"10,500 ryo!"

She almost let the count start that time before her voice piped up again, Adela beginning to get even more red-faced as it went on, "12,000 ryo!"

A quick look at Adela-chan and she quieted an eyebrow as she placed another bid.

"13,000 ryo."

Sorry Adela-chan, she promises she isn't making this personal.

Hinata...

"14,000 ryo!"

"14,500." What, he'd noticed. He wanted to 'help'. More.

"16,000!" ...Looks like Kushina is gonna keep "helping". At least, just this one last time.

"16,500 ryo." If Adela wanted a date with Sasuke, it was time to see just how badly she wanted one.

"20,000 ryo!"

Crud, she was bidding a lot, but she wasn't going to lose to anyone. Not to his brother, or Kushina, or Hinata, or the Hokage! Thank goodness she had the funds to spend on this, and then she wasn't thinking of how suspicious it was that she was spending so much money just to spend time with Sasuke, only that she was going to win said time with him!

What? 20,000? Ooh boy Adela, you can have Sasuke for that money. She sees him plenty without winning this bidding war. Glancing at Adela, she shrugs her shoulders and offers a smile.

"Have fun," she mouths across the crowd.

He'd been watching, and there's been this evil little smirk across his face ever since he'd connected the dots. And, just to test things, he'll be raising his hand from somewhere in the back of the crowd and-- "...20,500."

Shisui just wanted to know how much she'd spend on his little cousin, ahem.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE GOING TO BID ON SASUKE!? She was almost steaming mad though, her determination driving her further as she waved her hand and started raising her voice more, "22,000 ryo!"

Itachi eyed Adela and decided she looked too much like she might hurt the next person who bid on Sasuke. 22,000 ryo sounded like a decent price for a first date, and Sasuke would probably have more fun with Adela than he would have with Itachi anyway.

Hopefully he wouldn't get stuck with Shisui instead. That probably wouldn't be half as pleasant for him.

22,000 was plenty. Kushina quietly made her way through the crowd to pass behind Adela. She paused just a moment to pass on a message in a very sing-song kind of tone.

"Have a good time~"

And in a second, she had vanished behind several shinobi taller than her. Perfect for hiding bright red hair without using any techniques.

"23,000."

Oh good gods, he could just keep doing this if only to watch her get angrier-- Shhh, that wasn't a chuckle you just heard.

SHE SWORE TO GOD, SHISUI... Mission partners or not she was going to kick his ass when this was over!

"24,000!"

"25,000~"

Hope you had fun while it lasted, because she was starting to break through the crowd to try and make her way over. Why? Well, depended on if he was going to stick around to find out.

Still, at least she's not forgetting to bid, "26,000!"

"27,000!"

Whoops! Catch him if you can?

He's also hoping she can top that because he... didn't know what he was going to do with Sasuke if he won. Shit.
