A Returning Visitor
Who: Abel and OPEN
Where: Konoha
When: June 4th - July 1st
Notes: Around Konoha for the duration of Nagato's stay here.
When he wasn't guarding Nagato, Abel was enjoying the chance to see the various chunin applicants in action and the parts of Konoha he didn't get a chance to see before. It was strange but with the numerous foreign shinobi crowding the city, he didn't feel quite so out of place this time as he wandered around in his juonin uniform with his hitae-ate on. Of course, he still had various weapons secured around his person and in his hair as was his usual habit. The newest addition to his uniform was a pair of bracers with tiny spikes on the upper side, just long and sharp enough to draw blood.
Part of Abel wondered if he would have the chance to see anyone he had met at the auction here or if they would all be too busy to bother with him. Possibly too busy but he had dropped a note off at the Konoha Mission Room for Itachi, letting him know that Abel had arrived and was staying at a certain hotel if the Uchiha wanted to look him up. He wouldn't mind testing his own skills against Itachi if the other wanted to, and he had to admit that he wanted to see what it was like to spar against another bloodline as unique as the Uchiha one.

The pale hair caught her attention almost immediately. If it weren't for that she may have potentially over looked the man entirely. Or maybe not, she decides as her eyes land on the bracers. She likely would have noticed him regardless in that case. It wasn't unusual for visiting ninja to have some sort of weapon on display but it usually extended to items such as swords, fans, or other items of similar nature. But the bracers were subtle for those not paying close attention, it intrigued her.
Taking the bag containing her order she crossed to the man with a measured stride. She wasn't going to harm but it didn't stop her from wearing her curiosity on her face. "You have interesting taste in armor."

"Hyuuga-dono," he greeted with a smile. With those eyes, she couldn't be anyone but a Hyuuga. He straightened and glanced at his outfit. "Which part do you refer to?"
He didn't see anything out of place, but maybe she had seen something that had intrigued her.
no subject
"Subtle enough to be overlooked by the lazy and untrained but obvious to anyone truly paying attention. And just different enough to be of interest."
no subject
He bowed to her again. "Abel of Ame, Hyuuga-dono."
no subject
"Nice to meet you Abel-san." She's content with him calling her Hyuuga for now, people in the know of Hyuuga hierarchy tended to get strange when she gave her name. And while she couldn't be sure such would be the case here, this is one rare occasion where she'd rather err on the side of caution than bend to her manners. "Normally, it's giant fans and swords on display for exams. You stand out with your choice."
no subject
He glanced at her bag. "Is there somewhere I might escort you, Hyuuga-dono?"
no subject
"Hm?" She blinks as a breezes rustles the plastic in her hand, "Oh. I wouldn't want to impose on your time. You must have more interesting things to do than to escort me to the park."
no subject
Not like he really had any duties during the exams.
no subject
"What have you seen so far?" It would help her avoid pointing him towards somewhere he's already been.
no subject
He honestly hadn't seen much at all yet.
no subject
"There's plenty more places to list. I'm not sure what you might find interesting."
no subject
Another thought occurred to him. "Do you think the training grounds would be open to foreign shinbi wanting to practice a bit?"
no subject
"I don't see why they wouldn't be. Or if not all of them are accessible certain parts might be." She doesn't really see why certain training grounds wouldn't be open to foreign shinobi. After all they already likely have ANBU tails anyway so what would the harm be in allowing them to train. "If they are they're might be certain restrictions in place, you would have to find out what those might be."
no subject
He'd probably check out the training fields after the exams were over with so he could relax a bit before heading back to Ame.

He honestly wasn't fishing for information, just trying to make small talk with a pleasant young lady.
no subject
Oh she doesn't think he's fishing, if he were she'd expect he'd ask what the exact plans for the finals were or something of the sort. No she imagines he's just being friendly and trying to keep them lapsing into awkward silence, which could happen despite how much her social awkwardness had fallen away over the last few years.
no subject
Hyuuga-dono was rather nice to talk to, and Abel wouldn't mind striking up a casual acquaintance with her.

Adjusting their path a little, Hinata leads them around a corner and the edges of the park come into view. Their short interaction nearing it's end, but she is appreciative that he offered to escort her. It was not something he had to do.
no subject
He stopped and bowed respectfully to her. "May the rest of your day be peaceful and pleasant."
