[Open] Patrol Duty Blows
Who: Temari and anyone wandering
When: August 16-31.
Where: Along the northern border.
What: Sentenced to patrol duty, she runs into people.
If she wasn't chained to a desk, it stood to reason that she'd get border patrol. One semi-bungled mission and Temari found herself village bound and bored. Add that border patrol often involved long stretches of watch sand move and pale faced travellers double check their water supply and you had a solid picture of what Temari expected until she was free. People surprisingly enough seemed fairly intelligent about not trying to escape into a desert if running from surrounding countries and what sane person wanted to attack a country that was as dangerous as hers? No at best she was looking forward to a few caravan mishaps, and cranky merchants arguing.
Most days she can be found patrolling her assigned section of the northern border, quietly fuming as she picks apart all the different ways border patrol could have been avoided in the first place.

August 17th
Quietly and carefully, he slipped over the border, stashing the rain cloak in a pair of trees to be retrieved later, and approached her. Perhaps she had some information that could be shared.

There were protocols to follow about foreign shinobi just crossing without notice. While it's a single shinobi she wasn't about to let herself be caught with her guard down. "State your purpose."

There were no hostilities between their countries, and if there was a sandstorm due any time soon, then Nagato would be warned.

It was harmless information but it would allow any along the border to be prepared if it turned into a sandstorm once it hit the desert.
August 24th
But apparently there was going to be a person between him and that goal and he sincerely hoped she was friendly as he refused to halt his slog past her.

"Name, village and purpose." She demands flatly once she's close enough. He doesn't look like he's well prepared for traversing the desert between his reddening complexion and cranky expression. When are people going to learn that crossing a desert is not something to take on lightly?

Though she is curious as to why he has burns in places he wouldn't normally. Just what we're you doing delivery boy?She tilts her head, hand resting on her hip, "That's unfortunate."no subject
