Who: Sasuke and anyone in Konoha

Notes: When was the last time Sasuke had a full night's sleep? He honestly has no answer. Please enjoy your resident sleep-deprived Uchiha second-born. ALSO: last leg of the jounin exam is in this post to avoid commspamming.
On the bright side, the birds wanting to go outside at night at least meant that fewer people saw Sasuke in his current state. Fugaku had been satisfied with the news that Sasuke had obtained a summons, though Sasuke had done his best to leave out the precise how the contract had been formed, but he seriously doubted that his father would be pleased to hear comments about how a son of the Uchiha head family was wandering about half-armed and looking as if he'd barely rolled out of bed.
That, and with a bird that was clearly in its awkwardly fluffy adolescent stages perched on his shoulder, occasionally nipping at his ear when he seemed to deviate too much from the alleyways where they were most likely to find rats. Really, it was unfair to say that the birds wanted to outside at night; the other two were usually pretty content with their dinner and slept through until whatever disgusting internal alarm woke birds at the first suggestion of sunlight.
"It's always you," Sasuke muttered, and Hosuseri retaliated with a noise that Sasuke took to mean it was just as well that they were too young for human speech yet.
Blearily, he turned another corner and rubbed at the beginning of another sleep-deprivation headache, not particularly looking where he was going.

It wasn't like he'd never worked with people whose abilities were unknown to him before, it was just that the last time he had, he'd allowed them to be injured. The fact that he wasn't allowed to know how his performance on the first two segments of the exam wasn't particularly helping his nerves, but he closed the dossier with one last gulp of coffee and closed his eyes.
Taking a deep breath, he focused on his chakra. The time given to heal up from the second test had allowed him to sort out the worst of the knotted-up flow, but it would be calming if nothing else to visualise a system he knew intimately while waiting for a system that would be entirely new.
