The Hangover: Part II
Where: Neji's Apartment
When: Sept. 4, afternoon.
Notes: Closed to Neji and Gai.
Gai had some VERY IMPORTANT NEWS to tell his students. Lee had been thrilled for him, of course, and Tenten had accepted in her own stunned way, but now he was off to tell Neji all about the exciting turn of events in his love life. He could hardly contain himself, he was so excited. If Kakashi didn't want to keep it mostly secret, and if secrecy wasn't kind of important also because of Obito's position, Gai would have been shouting to the world. As it was, he would shout it to his students.
He was not prone to discussing his love life at all, least of all with his students, but this was just so momentous--and such a long time coming--that it seemed necessary to share. Although, now that he was standing in front of Neji's door, he was beginning to wonder if maybe it might make things awkward for Neji as an ANBU. But then again, it would give him fair warning as well, and it was important if he was going to guard the Hokage again at some future date that he understand the Hokage's significant relationships. Right? Right. One had to study a mission target, whether that was your safeguard target or your enemy. Plus, Gai just wanted him to know. It was important to share these things with the people you were close to; it was a bonding experience.
With that justification, Gai excitedly gave the door three quick knocks.
