Neji groaned again, because the last thing he wanted was his mentor's booming voice filling his small apartment while he was hungover. Tiredly, he wondered about the lesser of the two evils. Get up to answer the door and possibly convince the man to keep his voice at a semi-reasonable level, or make him let himself in and deal with his voice reverberating down the hall. That man was far too determined to give up just because of a closed door.

Grudgingly, Neji dragged himself out of bed and padded down the hall, wrenched open the door without the slightest attempt at appearing presentable.

"Quiet," he hissed, stepping aside and gesturing Gai in with a rushed sweep of his arm. "Or I'll make sure you can't speak for a few hours."

He wouldn't, mostly because he was in no shape to do so. And using that many words kind of hurt. In contrary to his apparent temper, Neji closed the door as softly as possible behind his uninvited guest and grumbled about the light coming into the kitchenette as he fished for some water.
