[Open] He decided to turn this into a visit while he was in town.

Notes: He was sent to pick up a merchant and drop off some paperwork that needed a ranking nin to protect it. Of course that left him with a couple days of lag time to account for.

He'd dropped off the paperwork just hours before, and in the process made sure that the Hokage was aware of his presence. That meant that he had a group of watchers following him around, he could practically feel their eyes burning into him, but he didn't mind. So long as he was permitted to do as he liked within allowed areas, then he saw no issue with being watched so closely.

Primarily checking on the two Konoha shinobi that actually had even the remotest hint of importance to him, actually, but he was in no particular hurry to get there. He had until the morning after next before he had to leave again after all.

...Well, if that's how he was going to do it, she'd chase after him with increasing speed as well. Speeding up was suspicious, anyway.

He wove casually though the crowd, then took a corner with an amused glance back.

When he turned the corner, she considered the situation briefly, and jumped up to the roof of the build he turned around instead. Observing his movement from above meant she wouldn't have to shove or bump through people to follow him. Of course, such observation wasn't subtle...but he clearly already knew she was following him, and as before there wasn't any need for her to hide herself.

Ah, well, in that case, that just took the fun out of it, and he ducked into a nearby restaurant. He might as well eat while she camped on a rooftop.

Well if he was going to eat, she didn't have any further reason to follow him. It wasn't like she was going to shadow the man his entire visit. There was a line between curiosity and running a mission without pay.

...But just to be sure, although she dropped down from the rooftop and made her way down the street away from the restaurant, she still sent a clone back to observe him in a more...stealthy position than she'd taken before. Just in case he decided to return to his actual purpose once she appeared to lose interest.

He had to wonder what she believed she was going to accomplish. he didn't bother with the clone once he discerned where it ended up, instead focusing on picking through the meal and going on his way. If nothing else, he'd determine if she was going to persist in having him followed.

She wasn't having him followed (she would have asked Shino to put a bug on him somewhere if she wanted that), she was just...following him. Out of curiosity, and because she simply could.

Today was a day where she was supposed to rest and not train...and also had nothing better to do. So. She'd persist in following? At least for a bit, until she was sure she knew what he was doing.

He didn't bother to veer off his hunt this time, instead wandering to check on the two Konoha nin he ever bothered with at all. The girl could make of it what she would.

...Huh. Well that was...curious, but also not that interesting. Mostly the only part that was even curious was that she recognized the small girl as one of Shisui's actual students and genin. She wondered what someone from Kiri would be doing having any interest in a young genin like (what was her name...) Oyama?

Perhaps she'd ask Shisui himself. After all, if the man wasn't shy about something when he knew he was being observed, it wasn't likely to be all that important. But that was very friendly behavior to have toward a foreign shinobi.

It was certainly...curious.

He never bothered to address his shadow for the remainder of his stay, instead simply going about his business until he left.
