Unfortunate Situation [Closed to: [personal profile] pinnedbangs]

Who: Hotohori and Rin Okimura
Where: The Land of Noodles
When: The first week of November
Notes: A high profile kidnapping attempt goes wrong. Very wrong.

His head hurt. His everything was a little sore in general, given he'd been fighting with the kidnapper before things got confusing, but now it was just his head.

What he'd been wearing was all but ruined in mud and dirt and the tears from the struggle, but it could easily be replaced. More important was the question of who would dare to attempt to kidnap a daimyo, and who would manage to fail at it so easily? And, probably, who would even want to kidnap Hotohori specifically?

Well...perhaps someone who expected a rich bounty, given the Land of Noodle's economic influence? But which country would it have been?

He gave a pensive frown, and then turned his attention to the unfamiliar figure who had arrived and interfered with the kidnapping. "...What is your name?" While thanking him for his assistance was important, it was also a strange person in his lands right after a sudden kidnapping attempt. The question was unfortunately more important at the moment.

There were a million reasons why he shouldn't give his name. He was supposed to be cold, ruthless, and a bunch of other things. He was a shinobi, not some random civilian or anything grander than that!

But helping out someone he hardly knew wasn't exactly what a shinobi should do. The young man rubbed the back of his head, making sure to only glance at the other person before him. "...Rin. Who're you supposed to be?"

It didn't bother him too much to receive little thanks in return. He wasn't expecting anything huge or even a minor display of gratitude. The other person - was it a man? a woman? - seemed to be okay. That was enough for him.
