Reunion (Not quite) [Closed to Kakashi and Obito]
Who: Rin Nohara, Obito Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake
Where: Konoha
When: October 10th
Notes: Rin decides that the 10th is the perfect time to catch up with her teammates. She won't have any disagreements about this.
She'd given the time-frame as about an hour and a half from when she sent out the letter to Obito, since she didn't really expect him to be able to lasso Kakashi into her plans any more quickly, and wanted to give herself adequate time to be prepared to go out, but she still arrived with about ten minutes to spare.
Maybe she should have shown up ten minutes late, considering the teammates she was waiting on...but then, showing up a little early allowed them to dispel that reputation! Or...you know, make up for the times they actually were late. Separately, not together.
Also, she was looking forward to spending an evening out with them. It felt like it had been a long time since she'd been able to drag them both somewhere. So, she couldn't be blamed for being excited enough to go out and wait at the gate even before the meeting time.
...And anyway, she had a scroll to read while she waited. So there was that, too.

He'd gone out early to take care of a few things, visit a few places around the village, and now he was on his way home. He happened to pass the main gate on his way around the perimeter, so to him it was a mere happen-stance that he'd see his team mate there. Regardless, he raised a hand in a wave as he approached.
"Hey, Rin," He greeted, a warm look showing in his visible eye. "What brings you out here?"

Even if it worked out to her advantage (somewhat, at least) that he did this time. Though...leave it to him not trying to arrive to manage to arrive on time again for once.
She was briefly surprised when she looked up from her scroll at his greeting...but the question that immediately followed it dispelled the notion that he might have arrived early instead of late.
Her smile was only a little too innocent. "Kakashi~! I was looking for you."

"Arrived just on time~! You're getting better at it!" She clasped her hands together. "It's because you were so excited to spend time with me again, right?"
no subject
"I uh," he mumbled, looking around as if some help or some answer would come to him.. then he looked back to her, and smiled. "Of course."
no subject
"Good!" She held out a hand for his, expectant, and maintained her determinedly bright smile. "Now we just have to wait on Obito and we can go! I've already got places planned."

She said nothing, though. Their punishment would come later. For the moment, she just held out a hand to Obito as well, smiling at both of them expectantly. They had maybe a minute before she'd just grab their hands herself if they didn't take hers. "That's a secret. You'll see when we get there~!"

"I shouldn't have brought something to sit on right? Because I'm totally unprepared for anything that involves wet grass."

"No wet grass this time! That wouldn't be a very good reunion at all." Once she had both of their hands in hers, she started forward, bold and confident. Actually...it was mostly just excited, because while they were the three of them wandering off in the night to celebrate somewhere as a team, she felt young in a good way, and close to her team in a way that hadn't been missing while she was in Uzu...but...distant.
"Are you both still hungry~?"
no subject
"Wouldn't dream of trying to answer for Kakashi though, he might not have been thinking ahead." The smile turned into a smirk as he looked to the other man.
no subject
His answer came quiet but affectionate. "I'm always hungry."
no subject
"Theeennnn....let's have barbecue!" She declared, lifting up both of their hands somewhat. "A team reunion should have barbecue, right? That restaurant is still around, isn't it?"
no subject
"Is that why you always get people to buy you food Kakashi? You're eternally starving?"
no subject
"There's a difference between being hungry and starving, Obito." He wasn't denying the comment about always being bought food but then he wasn't admitting to it either, and instead he squeezed Rin's hand lightly.
"Barbecue sounds good."
