Where: Tenten's apartment; a training field
When: February 15, Starting in the morning then through til noon

"It definitely could have been a lot worse." Kneeling down into the snow, the kunoichi made quick work of picking up any remaining trash and chopsticks left over from their little meal. "No impossible eating challenges were issued and no one had to go home with an upset stomach."

The blanket folded up and the bento boxes packed, Lee hefted the blanket over his shoulder and stood. "Did you want me to wash the bento at my place? I do not really have any extra plans for today."

The kunoichi snerked at the more ridiculous memories and gently shook her head at his inquiry. "No, that's okay, I can do it. I don't really have plans for the rest of the day, either..."

He looked back down at his bags and then smiled up at her. "Well, I can come with you and help you, then. The dishes should go by a lot faster with two people."

"Well. I definitely won't say no to that." Because didn't he have his own family to spend the holiday with? "But what about your mom and dad? Don't you wanna spend the rest of the afternoon with them?"
no subject
"My mother and father like to use holidays to catch up on big orders," Lee reassured her with a shrug. "They will be busy until evening, but I believe we will all be going out for dinner later."
His parents deserved a break from their work. They weren't shinobi, but that was no issue living in a shinobi village. There was never any lack of work for tailors when part of the ninja way of life revolved around close contact with blades and darts.

But then, she knew that Lee made a point to help them out as often as he could, in between his training and his missions. So it was fortunate that he would be be able to spend some time with them without the pressures of work. "Give them my regards, will you?"
Granted, Tenten had only met them a number of times. But they had always been kind and welcoming to her, much like their own son had always done with most people he met. At the thought of them, the kunoichi made a mental note to come by for a visit sometime soon. Perhaps bring them some of her own business and bring in some of her own training shirts to mend...
