The adventures of errand running (Open)
Who: Pengin and You!
When: March 14 to whenever he returns to Uzushio
Where: Uzushio starting out and then a slow meander through Fire Country to Konoha
Notes: Pengin gets to go collect a clan-kin's shopping from Konoha. Because that's what you do with younger clansmen right? (I apologize for the stuttering he'll do now, also top levels for a few general locations you can run into the penguin)

"A-ah, t-thank you very much Masanori-sempai. I-i hope t-this isn't too much trouble for you."

"It's not any trouble at all! So, where are you coming from, if you don't mind my asking?"

He didn't really see any harm in divulging that much. Even though he had his headband in around an ankle and thus not really visible, the fact the two villages were friendly and in an alliance meant it wasn't such a thing to be wary of divulging to the other.
"A-are you a stationary here in Konoha, Sempai?"
It takes him a moment to realize he used nomad phrasing before he blushes.
"I-i mean are you from here?"
no subject
"Aa! I was born here," he replied, giving the hitai-ate at his neck a careful flick with his finger. "You travel often, I take it?"
no subject
This is how you normally speak to someone when getting to know them he was almost certain. Somewhat...he really had no idea how to talk to people not of the clan and he was certain he was ruining this the more he spoke.

An honest admittance, if ever there was any. As heir to the clan, and a genin besides at that junction in his career, Masanori had been kept close to the village. He didn't mind it so much, though. He was where he needed to be to accomplish what he intended to accomplish. There would be plenty of time to travel, to weave his web beyond the village. He was doing so right then, even.
"When I have, it was really exciting, though! I think I'd like to travel more someday," he added, nodding. "There's a whole big world out there, right?"

It's the closes he ever gets to admitting that he wished to be a traveler like some of his clan still were. Even as he focuses a bit more on memorizing the route they are taking in the event he ever has to come back to this shop.
"Is i-it interesting, living in one place all the time?"
