Who: Nori & Obito
When: March 7th
Where: Konoha Hokage's office
Notes: Nori's very done and wants his own body back.

The game is up.
He's spent two whole days trapped in a foreign body, keeping a straight face and walking like he's had a stick up his ass to keep from drawing too much attention. On top of it all, he feels frail. Tall, lanky, and what he had first thought to be overexertion quickly resolved itself as some form of sickness he can't shake. But he's nothing if not adaptable, the shock wearing off through the first day. He spends the next taking full advantage of his new height to slide slender fingers into pockets he can't normally reach on his own only to have the novelty wear off after a couple hours. He gets himself a drink at a local bar and camps out in an abandoned apartment for the night, because he's stirred up enough suspicion at the Uchiha compound and doesn't feel safe there.
And so Nori finds himself entering Konoha's administrative building the following morning and lets himself go loose-limbed and smiling as he swaggers up to the Hokage's office. He's done playing, and it's time to move to Plan B.
He walks right in without even knocking and gives the man behind the desk a wide, toothy smile.
"Hokage-sama," he drawls with an exaggerated bow and straightens with a brief look over the masked man standing at attention behind his 'cousin'. "I'm here to make a request."
It's too bad his accent sounds awful with this kid's voice.

"You're not Itachi. A few quick questions then. How long have you been switched? Is he in mortal peril due to where your body was? Has anyone given you Itachi's medication? And who, exactly do I have the grace to be speaking to at present?"
no subject
With a great roll of his eyes, Nori shuts the door with a nudge of his foot, then wanders back into the office proper. Man didn't seem to hear a word he said, but such was the prerogative of authority types.
"Simmer down, simmer down," he says with a wave of his hand. "You fink if he was in mortal peril, I'd be here?" Mostly because that's his body, thanks. "Kid's supposed to be smart though, so 'slong as he didn't do anyfin' stupid, he's fine. Gave him instruction and everyfin' meself. Yer welcome."
Nori took a moment to study his nails, still a mix of alarmed and impressed by the slender length of those fingers. "Name's Nagata Kin, an I'm the suspicious type, so I don't take anyfin' I don't recognize. It's not been pleasant though."
no subject
Because it wasn't the first time he'd seen Sasuke do such a thing and he doubted it would be the last.
"What was the request?"
no subject
"Explains some fings," Nori allowed, deciding to inspect the little office now that he was here. Not that there was too much interesting beyond the desk itself. Mostly it was to piss off the Hokage's guard and maybe annoy the man himself a little bit. He deserved it.
Also kept him from dwelling too much on Itachi's younger brother for all that would lead to thoughts of his own. He plucked a leaf off a plant and stared at it a bit more critically than was strictly warranted.
"Got an appointment to keep," he said in answer, letting the leaf flutter to the floor as he moved to lean on the desk instead. "A body to reclaim, fish to feed, heads to bash in." He shrugged. "Can't keep stayin' here with such pressin' matters to tend to."
no subject
"Since I suspect dragging Itachi into a meeting when you don't know who he knows might be an issue on both of your behalves."
no subject
"An I'm sure your idea of handlin' this involves draggin' both of us back here." It was still really strange not to have a beard to pull on. Nori rubbed his smooth chin with a frown. "'Fraid I can't do that, though."
He pushed himself off the desk and flopped gracelessly into a chair, legs dangling over the side. At least he was adjusting to his new height.
"The kid'll keep you updated, might even have a bit o' juicy intel you'd be interested in."
no subject
He leaned forward, gaze intent. "Given the nature of the situation, I really have no choice but to trust you." He waved at him, a sweep of his hand that was almost an asking gesture. "I will request you give me time to take notes on the seal before you go. So far, there have been no two with the exact same configuration outside of the affected parties. Otherwise, I'll have to insist you wait it out, and as that's not something you seem keen on, likely with reason, this is quickest for all involved."
no subject
He could probably sneak out, but who knew how many people might be sent after him, and he wasn't keen on making enemies while his body was in the hands of a Konoha-nin. Neither did sitting on his ass appeal. At least, this was Itachi's body and from what he'd gathered, they were kin on some level. He probably wouldn't be stabbed in the back. Didn't make him feel too much better for it, but enough to swing back up to his feet.
"Alright, but you do this. If anyone else tries anyfin', I'll stick a knife in their gut an' you won't be seein' me again." Not the best way to go about negotiating perhaps, but thieves didn't go around mincing words.
no subject
He shifted, pushing back from his desk so he could get up, already rifling through a drawer for ink and fresh paper. "Just be glad I'm skilled enough with seals to record all the points I can find."
