Notes: Iruka felt it was only appropriate that he talk to his boyfriend's father after accidentally causing the whole... thing.

Iruka hadn't meant to cause Itachi to abdicate his responsibilities, and when he'd been told that was Itachi's intent after asking what he'd though was a simple question, he'd quickly figure dout he needed to get in contact with the younger man's family and make sure all was well.

It was a certainty he'd been trying to coax Itachi to be more open with his family, after all, though this result wasn't... quite what he'd been trying for. Thus why he was here, lightly tapping on the door to Fugaku's office for the meeting he'd arranged with the man.

Notes: Nagato finally decides they've both been fussing about the events of the month prior for long enough.

Nagato hadn't been sleeping much, but the letters from Ami a few days previous had made him take a hard look at his behavior since the... incident. He'd been overcompensating, and he realized now that his focus on that had led him to neglect to truly observe how his actions might have weighed on the people around him.

Admittedly, this was a common failing with him, though he didn't see it as such.

Still, it led him to seek out Juugo this morning, wanting to see if his actions had done the boy any distress, or if he, this time, had been handling it all better than himself.

Who: Rock Lee and anyone who wants to visit him!

Where: Konohagakure Hospital
Notes: After getting heavily injured during a mission a few days before, Lee is finally awake and allowed visitors. He's feeling a little down, mostly because it was his fault things wound up this way.

His chest was wrapped with bandages but the worst of his injuries were hidden under his hospital gown. However, that didn't mean Rock Lee was unaware of his blunder. He had pushed himself too far and this was the result.

Rubbing his forehead, Lee slowly eased himself back against the raised bed. Neji and Tenten were safe, mostly fine. Alive. That was what mattered. It really mattered. And it did! But...

Lee closed his eyes, feeling resigned. He had failed, and that mattered too, to Lee if not to anyone else. He was going to need to fix that.
