we got to get right back to where we started from
Where: Hokage Tower, Obito's office.
When: Dec 20th.
Notes:possibly NSFW. Can't be sure yet. Nah, looked like it's definitely NSFW. They're going there.
Gai had been working on his resolutions, first in anticipation of what to write to his father on the lantern, and now in preparation of the New Year. Usually, most of Gai's resolutions were focused solely on himself, and nearly all of them were things he had control over the outcome, but sometimes...sometimes they were things he required another person for.
☐ Be a better boyfriend.
To be honest, he wasn't sure how to be that, but he was definitely going to try. His resolution list in his notebook at home included self-suggestions on how to improve:
• invest in more time with them
•behave do not intrude on matters that do not concern you (they do not all concern you)
• be more affectionate
• say 'I love you' more often
• hold their hands
• strive to learn something new about them each time you see them
• more challenges
• be nicer toYamato their friends
• take them out on dates/excusions/lunches
• renew kissing practice?
And it was that last one that had Gai here now, because while the ball was in his court for most of the others, kissing practice was something Obito had to want again too. They hadn't exactly done much of that since becoming boyfriends and he felt a little selfish wanting that back so badly. After all, kissing was not all he saw in Obito and he did not want his friend to think that was all he was here for, but...
He missed it. Kissing Obito had been like challenging Kakashi: a perfect excuse for being together. And kissing Obito had been really, really wonderful, too. He made Gai's heart flutter with excitement, took his breath away--
Surely Obito, who liked kissing people and flirting with people and all of that, would want kissing practice back, right? That was what he hoped, at least.
Gai knocked on the door to Obito's office and then peeked in. "Hokage-sama! When you are not busy, may I speak to you about something personal?"

Gai knocked on the door to Obito's office and then peeked in. "Hokage-sama! When you are not busy, may I speak to you about something personal?"

He wanted to say something, but he couldn't find it in him to, words rather escaping him as he trembled slightly.
no subject
Once Obito had settled back into his seat, Gai half-expected him to say something. When he didn't, Gai did. "I am sorry if this is completely inappropriate." But the way he kissed Obito then, deeply and hungrily, did not say he was sorry at all.
no subject
Then again, it's not like he had any experience with anyone else, so it made sense it as... intense.
no subject
He gave a little growl low in his throat from the tightening fingers in his hair, and though Gai had no idea what to do with that nip Obito gave his lips earlier, he was beginning to give it a second consideration. He gave an experimental bite to Obito's lower lip as his hand slid up to Obito's waistband.
no subject
That side was winning. As soon as he figured out there was stripping involved he was going to help though. Definitely.
Once he got off the kiss enough to do so.
no subject
As much as he wanted to strip Obito of his clothes, and as much as Gai was trying to, he also wasn't eager to break the kiss again, not when he could kiss his squirming boyfriend and put his hands all over him and enjoy Obito enjoying this.
He unfastened Obito's pants and, heart pounding excitedly, he slid his fingers down under the clothes, along Obito's warm flesh, first just his stomach and then down into his pants. Gai's cheeks flushed, a bit embarrassed, and very turned on, by his own boldness.
no subject
No, instead his breathing was picking up as he squirmed more, arched and feeling the tight ache that was creeping in. It did, however, inspire him to roam one of his hands over the smooth material of Gai's back, digging in his fingertips to press in a pass along his spine.
no subject
He didn't want to end this too soon, but it would be a fair price to pay to see Obito like this, so he nudged Obito's pants open enough to draw him out and stroke him, and Gai began to trail kisses along the corner of Obito's mouth, down his jawline to his neck.
no subject
This was going to be over embarrassingly quickly at this rate.
no subject
Obito's hand grabbed his ass, and Gai grunted, hips pushing into his own hand and against Obito as he pressed in closer, the increased contact igniting further desire instead of satisfying anything.
no subject
The extra grind was, humiliatingly, too much, and he clutched the other man to him as he hid his face against his neck in the wake of his release. Much too fast, much too overeager. He could feel his face burning and his hands had slid to wrap around his back instead of their former positions.
Composure was needed. He could handle this. He could. That did not, however, make him particularly eager to lift his head and see the reaction to that rather abrupt end to things.
no subject
He could feel Obito's embarrassment in his heated cheeks, in the way he clung, and Gai gave him a few moments, holding him in his arms and shielding Obito (in his rumpled state and obvious embarrassment) from the ANBU, then he pressed a kiss to his cheek. What did one say now? I am sorry I was overeager? Perhaps, but that was not entirely honest. He wasn't sorry for his own excitement, though he was sorry it had an outcome that embarrassed Obito.
When Obito finally lifted his head, he smiled and blushed, his own awkwardness settling in with a hint of a laugh. That was not nearly as romantic as Gai might have expected of their first time, but he was not disappointed.
no subject
"Way too fast." His gaze flicked down, then back up, still spinning lazy crimson. His tone was breathless. "Didn't expect it to go like that."
no subject
no subject
He nodded at him. "Yeah, next time."

no subject
The smile turned to a wry grin, and he peeked back up at him again as he finally found something that would work. "It wouldn't be farfetched to think the sentiment might be returned though."
no subject
"Really?" Gai cheeks were deep red at the second comment and fussed around, looking for where his vest went and for something in the pockets to wipe his own hands with. "I am glad."
no subject
Why had he not considered them before??
"I woudn't joke about that so... yeah."
no subject
Gai wiped his fingers, thoroughly, since he didn't want to leave a mess on the Hokage's papers, then slipped on his vest as he looked down at the scattered paperwork. Obito's embarrassment might have been settling, but Gai's was starting to set in. What did one do now? Make more promises and declarations, if you were Gai.
"Next time, I shall do this right! I shall take you out for dinner and dessert and we shall take it slowly and I promise you will enjoy it!" He picked up a few sheets of paper, setting them on the desk. "It will be the best date you have ever been on!"
no subject
"Doesn't mean I won't take you up on it."
no subject
He went back to bending over and retrieving the paperwork, along with a few odds and ends of other spilled desk essentials.
no subject
There was still a sense of heavy warmth in his limbs when he got up, righting what he could of the things that remained on his desk. It had been a surprise, and vividly intense... but perhaps better for the shortness given that he knew for a fact they hadn't locked the door in any way.
It was enough to finally have him blinking away his sharingan at least.
no subject
He went to put a paper down and Obito was there fixing things! That was hardly fair. Gai had a self-challenge to fulfill! He swatted at Obito's hands. "Gah! Obito! You do not need to help! I made the mess, I shall clean it up, remember? Half the time! I promised! Do not make me make you stop!"
no subject
It wasn't like it was a bad view.
