we got to get right back to where we started from
Where: Hokage Tower, Obito's office.
When: Dec 20th.
Notes:possibly NSFW. Can't be sure yet. Nah, looked like it's definitely NSFW. They're going there.
Gai had been working on his resolutions, first in anticipation of what to write to his father on the lantern, and now in preparation of the New Year. Usually, most of Gai's resolutions were focused solely on himself, and nearly all of them were things he had control over the outcome, but sometimes...sometimes they were things he required another person for.
☐ Be a better boyfriend.
To be honest, he wasn't sure how to be that, but he was definitely going to try. His resolution list in his notebook at home included self-suggestions on how to improve:
• invest in more time with them
•behave do not intrude on matters that do not concern you (they do not all concern you)
• be more affectionate
• say 'I love you' more often
• hold their hands
• strive to learn something new about them each time you see them
• more challenges
• be nicer toYamato their friends
• take them out on dates/excusions/lunches
• renew kissing practice?
And it was that last one that had Gai here now, because while the ball was in his court for most of the others, kissing practice was something Obito had to want again too. They hadn't exactly done much of that since becoming boyfriends and he felt a little selfish wanting that back so badly. After all, kissing was not all he saw in Obito and he did not want his friend to think that was all he was here for, but...
He missed it. Kissing Obito had been like challenging Kakashi: a perfect excuse for being together. And kissing Obito had been really, really wonderful, too. He made Gai's heart flutter with excitement, took his breath away--
Surely Obito, who liked kissing people and flirting with people and all of that, would want kissing practice back, right? That was what he hoped, at least.
Gai knocked on the door to Obito's office and then peeked in. "Hokage-sama! When you are not busy, may I speak to you about something personal?"

"You do not actually want me to come at you over this desk, do you?" Gai stopped himself, but was clearly poised and ready to do so, and his smile was developing an almost silly, sly edge to it, as if ready for a challenge. Whether he went over the desk himself, tossed the desk aside, or hauled Obito over the desk to him... Gai had his pick of choices. "Because I will."

And yet he wasn't matching words to actions. Whoops.

Gai swept the papers (and everything else) aside in a grand gesture that sent most everything on the desk clattering to the floor. Then he half-slid over the top of the desk, stopping short of landing on the other side (or running into Obito). Holding his gaze for a breath longer, Gai finally leaned down and kissed him.
no subject
Okay, that had just made a ton of work for him but he couldn't protest too hard given the intensity of the look, even if he did kind of want to punch him.
Instead, he just leaned up into the kiss and nipped at him in rebuke as his hand went from groping helplessly after papers to twining tightly into Gai's hair as he used the hand formerly at his shoulder to pull him off the desk entirely. He fully intended to land the man in his lap.
If he was going to make work for him he wasn't going to keep that much air between them while he did it.
no subject
At the pull, Gai slid off the table and into Obito's lap, not even caring that he didn't really fit on the chair when it was already occupied. He pushed Obito against the backrest, deepening the kiss, his hand cupping Obito's cheek, his eyes closing into the kiss.
no subject
The nip had been a useless attempt if he was just going to kiss it away, but the grip on his hair definitely wasn't going to be let up, not for now at least. The paperwork he'd think about again later.
No, at the moment he was dealing with a shockingly sharp spike of need that was coming with the kiss. Maybe it was that there was a thrill since he didn't have to compose himself to a certain boundary? Or maybe it was the time since he'd last done anything except hug someone he was used to being more intimate with?
All their normal routines had been a mess for months, and this was one of the things that had fallen far, far to the wayside. So he paused his seat back a little further, held Gai a little closer, and set about trying to steal the very air he breathed.
no subject
He did, however, know that he liked Obito's touch. Gai was physical anyway and, sure, Obito had touched him before, even during their kissing practices, but it was never anything other than friendly. 'Friendly' touches had made Gai's heart do somersaults in his chest, had made him smile for the rest of the day and glow. Now, the hand on his waist, the feel of Obito's lap under him, those fingers in his hair (just a tinge too firm a grip that Gai decided he liked a lot)--it all suggested things Gai hadn't really been allowed to (or had time to) consider before. He had only intended to discuss resuming kissing training; Gai hadn't anticipated how badly he had longed for this.
Just as eager to close the space between them, after a moment he shrugged his flak vest off and dumped it on the floor. His sense of romance said he should be kissing a little softer, more tenderly, but he really just wanted to kiss Obito senseless.
no subject
"Careful there." The tone was somewhat breathless, and he peeked at him through his lashes, a smirk touching his lips and a spark of crimson in his eyes. Usually, he managed to keep that under control, but at the moment he really didn't care.
He reeled him back into the kiss a moment later. Sure, he had more layers on than Gai, but it felt... appropriately distancing given this was his office... and he kind of had to admit he wasn't protesting whatever degree of stripping Gai ended up doing.
no subject
"Caution is overrated." Gai was happy to take a spill if it meant hearing that husky laugh again. He smiled back slowly, soaking in Obito's smirk and the hint of Sharingan peeking uncontrolled through those lashes. Obito was a beautiful man. It had been far too long since Gai was last able to appreciate him this up close and personal.
No one was here, ANBU aside, and Gai figured he would have to get very used to kissing Obito in front of the ANBU anyway. They were not likely to be going away any time soon. And it was not as if his vest was anything to be embarrassed about removing. It was not as if he was removing the jumpsuit...though perhaps he was starting to consider it. He ran a hand up Obito's chest, fingers tightening in the front of his robes, pulling on him a little.
no subject
This kissing was very different from the previous kissing on more than one level, after all.
no subject
He made a low noise and shifted, his hand moving down the front of Obito's robes between them, low onto his stomach. Gai very briefly thought of the ANBU, glad that Neji wasn't on duty at the moment, and wondered if maybe he should stop this here. After all, this was a bit risque for the Hokage's Office, and all they had done was kiss. But that was still improper. Surely. Maybe. As if that mattered anymore, when Obito deepened the kiss like that and Gai could think of nothing but kissing and touching all of his boyfriend.
no subject
He considered shifting in hs chair to get them closer, but not yet. He wanted to see where Gai was going with this first.
no subject
For the moment, however, his hand just kneaded gently against the robes and Obito's firm abdomen, taking his time feeling him. Gai hadn't exactly walked in planning to seduce him or anything (if that was even what he was attempting to do now! Gai wasn't sure himself) so he had no idea how to go about it, but plans and forethought were never Gai's strongest skill--action was. And so, he pulled back from the kiss and watched Obito's reaction through his lashes as his hand moved down Obito's stomach and on his lap.
This was not something to be done in the Hokage's office, Gai was sure of it, but at the moment, as his hand rubbed Obito's groin through the robes, he was very intrigued by the possibility.
no subject
He wanted to say something, but he couldn't find it in him to, words rather escaping him as he trembled slightly.
no subject
Once Obito had settled back into his seat, Gai half-expected him to say something. When he didn't, Gai did. "I am sorry if this is completely inappropriate." But the way he kissed Obito then, deeply and hungrily, did not say he was sorry at all.
no subject
Then again, it's not like he had any experience with anyone else, so it made sense it as... intense.
no subject
He gave a little growl low in his throat from the tightening fingers in his hair, and though Gai had no idea what to do with that nip Obito gave his lips earlier, he was beginning to give it a second consideration. He gave an experimental bite to Obito's lower lip as his hand slid up to Obito's waistband.
no subject
That side was winning. As soon as he figured out there was stripping involved he was going to help though. Definitely.
Once he got off the kiss enough to do so.
no subject
As much as he wanted to strip Obito of his clothes, and as much as Gai was trying to, he also wasn't eager to break the kiss again, not when he could kiss his squirming boyfriend and put his hands all over him and enjoy Obito enjoying this.
He unfastened Obito's pants and, heart pounding excitedly, he slid his fingers down under the clothes, along Obito's warm flesh, first just his stomach and then down into his pants. Gai's cheeks flushed, a bit embarrassed, and very turned on, by his own boldness.
no subject
No, instead his breathing was picking up as he squirmed more, arched and feeling the tight ache that was creeping in. It did, however, inspire him to roam one of his hands over the smooth material of Gai's back, digging in his fingertips to press in a pass along his spine.
no subject
He didn't want to end this too soon, but it would be a fair price to pay to see Obito like this, so he nudged Obito's pants open enough to draw him out and stroke him, and Gai began to trail kisses along the corner of Obito's mouth, down his jawline to his neck.
no subject
This was going to be over embarrassingly quickly at this rate.
